Summer temperatures are here, and sometimes, even making a simple house chore into something harder to accomplish. As if it had a perfect timing, Xiaomi has just launched a new addition to its smart home lineup — the Smart Desktop Air Circulation Fan. Compact and modern, this fan is designed to deliver powerful airflow in small spaces while integrating with smart home ecosystems. Initially released in select European countries, it highlights Xiaomi’s focus on functional, connected home appliances that combine efficiency with user-friendly technology.

The fan features a sleek white, minimalist design and offers 3D air circulation with a wide oscillation range — 120° horizontally and 100° vertically. It delivers airflow up to 10 meters and has a total air output of 1,180 cubic meters per hour. Xiaomi claims it can cool an average-sized room in about 23 minutes.

Despite its power, the fan operates quietly, generating just 28.4 decibels of noise — making it suitable for bedrooms or workspaces where low noise is essential. Its energy consumption is also low, drawing just 1.75W of power.

What sets this fan apart is its smart functionality. It connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and is compatible with the Xiaomi Home app, allowing remote control via smartphone. It also supports voice commands through both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, offering hands-free operation and easy integration with other smart devices.

One of the key features is its built-in 10,000mAh rechargeable battery, providing up to 26 hours of wireless use on a full charge — ideal for power outages, camping, or flexible room placement. Uniquely, the device can double as a power bank, allowing users to charge other USB-powered devices in a pinch.

While pricing and release details for the U.S. have yet to be confirmed, the fan currently retails for £74.99 (approximately $99 USD) in countries such as Germany, France, the U.K., and Spain. A U.S. launch could appeal to consumers looking for energy-efficient, portable, and smart-controlled cooling options — particularly those who value quiet operation and multi-functionality in compact devices.
