    Don’t forget credit/ZDNET

Holding out for that really good Presidents’ Day laptop deal? I got you. The 13th-gen ThinkPad X1 Carbon is $620 off at B&H Photo/Video, bringing the price to $1,379 — a fantastic deal for a tried-and-true, powerful workstation from one of our favorite laptop lines. Simply put, this is the standout laptop sale of the holiday weekend.

Also: The best Presidents’ Day sales we’ve found so far

This configuration of the X1 Carbon comes with 16GB of RAM and the Intel Core Ultra 7 255U processor from Intel’s “Meteor Lake” processor line up from last year. With an integrated Intel Arc GPU and a 1TB M.2 SSD, you’ve got a reliable, high-performing device for a range of professionals.

Lenovo is marking down prior models of ThinkPads to make room for the 2026 refreshes, but these devices are barely a year old and absolutely competitive in 2026.

Besides its utilitarian form, the X1 Carbon has an extensive range of ports: you’ve got two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1, 3.5mm audio jack, lock slot, fingerprint sensor, and a lock slot.

Also: Lenovo showed me its new ThinkPad X1 Carbon, and I didn’t see this year’s upgrades coming

This model features a 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) resolution IPS display that scales up to 500 nits of brightness — meaning it’ll look good in most environments. While this isn’t exactly a flashy display, it’s crisp, bright, and well-suited for a variety of applications. Plus, the Intel Arc GPU can easily connect to external monitors without any lag.

    How I rated this deal

This is a laptop that would have cost over two grand when it released in 2025, but now sits at a very affordable $1,379 — a price point typically occupied by significantly less powerful machines. I’m giving it a rating of 4/5 for the $620 off: a steep price reduction on a trusted laptop that I’ve personally tested.

Per B&H, this deal will last until February 18, 2026. Deals are subject to sell-out or expire at any time, though ZDNET remains committed to finding, sharing, and updating the best product deals for you to score the best savings. Our team of experts regularly checks in on the deals we share to ensure they are still live and obtainable.
