    When is October Prime Day 2025? 

    Amazon’s October Prime Day is held on Oct. 7 and 8, 2025. You can find steep markdowns on big brands like Sony and Samsung as well as Hisense, TCL, and more. 

    Are TVs really cheaper on Prime Day? 

    They can be! Amazon often features discounts on a variety of TVs throughout the year, but especially during the Prime Day sale events. While each discount varies by brand and model, it’s possible to save 30, 40, or even 50 percent on a high-end TV for upgrading your home theater.

    Amazon Prime Day vs. Black Friday: Which has better deals? 

    While Amazon Prime Day has deals exclusive to Prime members, Black Friday deals are across all retailers and are available to anyone. Some of the lowest prices we’ve ever seen products discounted at have been during Black Friday sales events. However, we consistently notice that Amazon products are priced lower during Prime Day events, so now is a better time to buy Kindles, Fire TVs, Echo devices, etc. 

    How can you fact-check Prime Day deals?
