Mummy 4 co-director Matt Bettinelli-Olpin talks about getting Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz on board. The cast of Mike Flanagan’s Exorcist keeps on growing. Plus, get one more tiny look at Project Hail Mary before launch. Spoilers, assemble!

    The Batman, Part II

According to a new report from Giant Freakin Robot, Daniel Craig has allegedly been offered the role of Christopher Dent, Harvey Dent’s father, in The Batman, Part II. Should he decline, Liam Neeson is claimed to be next in line to play the character.

    Mike Flanagan’s The Exorcist

THR reports John Leguizamo has joined the cast of Mike Flanagan’s The Exorcist in a currently undisclosed role. However, the outlet adds he “may be playing an antagonist.”

    The Mummy 4

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, The Mummy 4 co-director Matt Bettinelli-Olpin suggested Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz wouldn’t be involved unless they loved the script from Orphan: First Kill writer David Coggeshall.

It’s just really, really beautiful and scary and sweeping, and it’s awesome… I don’t think Brendan and Rachel are getting involved unless they love that script, and what they read, I think they really liked. And it’s a good script. It’s gonna be fun to make.

    SOULM8TE

Bloody-Disgusting reports the M3GAN spinoff movie, SOULM8TE, has been rated “R” for “strong violence, gore, sexual content, graphic nudity, and language.”

    Project Hail Mary

A “final sneak peek” trailer gives us a little more of Grace and Rocky’s relationship.

    The Cure

A sick teenager discovers her biotech billionaire parents (David Dastmalchian and Twilight‘s Ashley Greene) are harvesting her blood for sinister purposes in the trailer for The Cure.

    Star Trek: Starfleet Academy

In a recent interview with Screen Rant, Jonathan Frakes revealed his upcoming episode of Starfleet Academy will be the last episode of Star Trek he directs “for the time being.”

At least for the time being. Yes. I wouldn’t have been able to make the schedule [for the other shows].

    Primal

Finally, Spear handily defeats a fearsome new opponent in the trailer for this Sunday’s episode of Primal.
