LG is holding a new limited-time laptop sale on its website. Many great models are on sale, but my favorite is the LG gram Pro 17, which has dropped down to $2,000. That is a cool $900 off the original price. To get the discount, you will need to enter the code “PC900” at checkout, so be sure you don’t forget that. Additionally (and this is very important), you only have until the end of today, February 15, to receive the discount.

LG’s gram Pro 17 is a solid laptop, pairing its 17-inch WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) IPS display with top-notch internals, making it a well-rounded machine for work and play. This model features an Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 processor, 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a speedy NVMe SSD, providing ample performance headroom for multitasking, heavy internet browsing, and content creation.

Also: I’ve been reviewing laptops for years – these older models work great and will save you money

That IPS panel runs at a variable refresh rate of up to 144Hz to ensure smooth on-screen visuals. It runs on a dedicated Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card. The GPU gives the LG gram Pro 17 the power to handle heavy creative workloads, such as video editing and 3D modeling. It also lets the computer double as a pretty decent gaming machine. A laptop like this can run pretty warm, so LG equipped its device with a robust double-fan cooling system to keep temperatures low.

As for the monitor, the 27-inch UltraGear is a pretty good gaming screen. It is a vibrant display that covers up to 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports VESA HDR400 to output vibrant imagery. Games particularly leap to life.

The device also supports FreeSync Premium and G-Sync Compatibility. These features make sure your favorite titles run without stutter. Other notable features include an adjustable L-shaped stand and built-in speakers.

    How I rated this deal

As per ZDNET’s rating system, I give this promotion a score of 4/5. I highly suggest taking advantage of this deal while it lasts. $900 off is pretty crazy in my eyes. It also helps that the LG gram Pro 17 is a solid all-rounder that will sure to make many people happy.

As per LG, this offer will end on February 15.
