We know that Motorola has partnered with luxury brand Swarovski for a special edition release of the Motorola Razr (2025) and Moto Buds Loop, targeting users who value both technology and style. Originally teased for release on August 5, the launch date has now shifted to August 15, as indicated by Motorola’s latest teaser shared on X (formerly Twitter).

This upcoming special edition marks a renewed collaboration between Motorola and Swarovski, blending cutting-edge mobile tech with high-end fashion. The Motorola Razr (2025) will feature an exterior embedded with Swarovski crystals, elevating its aesthetics to a luxury accessory. Alongside the phone, a new blue-tinted version of the Moto Buds Loop will also be released, aligning with the same premium visual theme.

While the teaser highlights the product’s high-end appearance, no hardware changes are expected compared to the standard Motorola Razr (2025). The focus remains on exclusive design enhancements to appeal to consumers looking for devices that offer both function and fashion.

As we can see from the post above, oddly enough, the message still displays the old release date (August 8th) while the video already brings the updated one (August 15th).

    Specs and Features

The Motorola Razr 60 special edition will retain the core specifications of the original device. These include:

    • 6.9-inch Foldable LTPO AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate
    • 3.6-inch pOLED external display with up to 90Hz refresh rate
    • MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset
    • 50 MP main camera, 13 MP ultrawide, and 32 MP front camera
    • 4,500 mAh battery with 30W fast charging

These specs make the Razr (2025) competitive in the foldable smartphone market, especially for users seeking a balance of performance,

While the teaser is targeted primarily at the Asian market for now, this luxury edition has the potential to resonate well with U.S. consumers —especially in fashion-forward markets like New York, Los Angeles, and Miami — and we know that, officially, it will be released here.

As foldables gain momentum in the U.S., collaborations like this may attract a new demographic of users who prioritize personal expression through technology.
