Lisuan Technology, a young GPU designer based in Shanghai, surprised the PC world by announcing graphics cards with up to 24GB of video memory aimed at workstations and servers. The 24GB parts belong to a wider G100 family that also includes a 12GB gaming card, the LX 7G100, which went on sale in China in 2026. Here is what Lisuan announced, the official specs, where you can buy one as of October 2026 and why it matters.

Quick answer: Lisuan’s 24GB cards are the LX Pro (workstation) and LX Ultra (server), both using GDDR6 memory, with ECC and 16 way virtualization listed for the Ultra. They sit alongside the 12GB LX 7G100 gaming card built on the 6 nanometer 7G106 chip. The cards are sold in China only, there is no US launch, and early independent tests put the gaming model below an Nvidia RTX 4060.

    Who is Lisuan Tech?

Lisuan Technology was founded in Shanghai in the early 2020s by engineers who previously worked at S3 Graphics, a name older PC users may remember. Instead of licensing an existing design, the company built its own GPU architecture, called TrueGPU, and says it was developed without Western technology. That matters in China, where export restrictions limit access to the fastest Nvidia and AMD chips.

Lisuan first unveiled its debut GPU in 2025, then presented the full G100 lineup at a Chinese appliance and electronics expo in March 2026. Preorders opened on the Chinese retailer JD.com, and the company reported strong early demand, with more than 30,000 gaming cards preordered within the first two days.

The G100 lineup and official specs

The whole family is based on the same architecture. The gaming card uses the 7G106 chip, while the professional cards were originally shown under the 7G105 name, which no longer appears on Lisuan’s site.

LX UltraServer24GB GDDR6 with ECC16 way virtualization, blower style cooler

Key details Lisuan has published for the 7G106 chip and the gaming card:

    • Process: 6 nanometer manufacturing.
    • Compute: up to about 24 teraflops of FP32 performance, with 192 texture units and 96 ROPs.
    • Interface: PCIe 4.0 x16, powered by a single 8 pin connector on the gaming card.
    • Graphics APIs: DirectX 12, Vulkan 1.3, OpenGL 4.6 and OpenCL 3.0. There is no hardware ray tracing.
    • Display: four DisplayPort 1.4a outputs supporting up to 8K at 60Hz, and no HDMI port.
    • Video engine: HEVC decoding up to 8K at 60 frames per second, plus AV1 and HEVC encoding.
    • Software: an in house upscaler called NRSS and a Windows driver that passed Microsoft WHQL certification, a first for a Chinese GPU maker.
Tip: 24GB of memory does not make a card fast by itself. For local AI models and 3D work, memory size, memory bandwidth, driver support and software compatibility all matter, and Nvidia’s CUDA ecosystem remains the standard for most AI tools.

Availability and price as of October 2026

The LX 7G100 gaming card is sold through JD.com in China, with retail sales starting in June 2026. Its launch price in China worked out to roughly $485 at the exchange rate of the time, close to what an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB costs in the US. Lisuan has kept releasing driver updates since launch, including one in early October 2026 that expanded game support.

The 24GB LX Pro and LX Ultra are listed on Lisuan’s website, but the company has not published board power or public pricing for them, and they are aimed at business buyers rather than retail shoppers.

For American buyers the answer is simple: none of these cards are officially sold in the US, there is no US warranty or support, and Lisuan has not announced a launch outside China. Importing one through a reseller is possible, but you would be on your own for warranty, returns and support.

    Why it matters

Early independent testing in China found the LX 7G100 well behind Nvidia’s older RTX 4060 in many games, and some titles had driver problems. On raw performance per dollar it is not a threat to Nvidia, AMD or Intel today.

The bigger story is strategic. China wants domestic alternatives for gaming PCs, workstations and data centers that do not depend on US chip exports. A homegrown architecture with signed Windows drivers, broad API support and a 24GB server card is a meaningful step, and features like ECC memory and GPU virtualization show Lisuan is targeting cloud and enterprise customers, not just gamers. If the company keeps improving its drivers and moves to newer manufacturing, it could become a real regional competitor.

5 Ways to Repurpose Old CD and DVD Players

Not officially. The cards are sold in China, and Lisuan has not announced US availability, pricing or support.

Does the Lisuan GPU support ray tracing?

No. The G100 family supports DirectX 12 and Vulkan 1.3 but lacks dedicated ray tracing hardware.

Which Lisuan card has 24GB of VRAM?

The LX Pro workstation card and the LX Ultra server card. The LX 7G100 gaming card and the LX Max have 12GB.

Is it faster than an RTX 4060?

Early independent tests say no. The gaming card generally trails the RTX 4060, though driver updates are still arriving.

    The verdict

Lisuan’s 24GB GPUs are an important milestone for China’s chip ambitions rather than a product American buyers should chase. If you need a workstation or AI card in the US, stick with Nvidia, AMD or Intel for now, and watch Lisuan as a sign of how fast China’s GPU industry is catching up.
