Samsung finally confirmed the date of its February Unpacked event, where the company is expected to unveil new hardware, including a confirmed new Galaxy S series and possibly more.

The company confirmed on Tuesday that its winter event is scheduled just before Mobile World Congress later this month. Unpacked will take place in San Francisco on February 25 at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET. Samsung kept the details sparse, but said the new Galaxy S series will more seamlessly integrate Galaxy AI into everyday functions.

    What to expect

Rumors suggest we’ll see Samsung’s newest phone lineup, including the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, with camera upgrades, larger screens on lower-end models, and some useful software features.

Also: Why the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s biggest upgrade won’t be its camera or processor

Samsung is expected to announce One UI 8.5, which has been available in beta since December, at the upcoming launch event as well. New software features could include an expanded dark theme, upgraded Home Up and lock screen widget support, and, of course, more Galaxy AI everywhere.

    How to tune in

For those tuning in online, people can livestream the event through Samsung Newsroom, Samsung.com, or Samsung’s YouTube channel on February 25.

    How to reserve your preorder

If you’re serious about buying a new Galaxy S phone, Samsung is sweetening the deal with reservation credits. People can get a $30 credit when they preorder the device. The reservation to preorder isn’t a commitment, so you can still register for the discount, whether you end up using it or not.
