    In the latest development, former Des Moines Public Schools superintendent Ian Roberts was taken into federal custody and, on Thursday, charged with possessing firearms while in the United States without legal authorization [foxnews.com#1][nytimes.com#2][thehill.com#3]. Prosecutors say four firearms were found on Sept. 26 in a vehicle and at his home; he resigned earlier this week following an ICE arrest last week [foxnews.com#1][nytimes.com#2][thehill.com#3].
