Twitter has begun testing a new, more convenient way to view profiles on mobile devices. Now users will not need to leave the chronicle if they want to get acquainted with the profile of the person or community of interest.
As part of the test, if a user is mentioned in a tweet, then simply click on his name with an “@” sign and his profile will be shown in a pop-up window.
To return to the previous screen, you need to “swipe” the profile down.
