When is October Prime Day 2025?

Amazon’s October Prime Day is held on Oct. 7 and 8, 2025. You can find steep markdowns on big brands like Sony and Samsung as well as Hisense, TCL, and more.

Are TVs really cheaper on Prime Day?

They can be! Amazon often features discounts on a variety of TVs throughout the year, but especially during the Prime Day sale events. While each discount varies by brand and model, it’s possible to save 30, 40, or even 50 percent on a high-end TV for upgrading your home theater.

Amazon Prime Day vs. Black Friday: Which has better deals?

While Amazon Prime Day has deals exclusive to Prime members, Black Friday deals are across all retailers and are available to anyone. Some of the lowest prices we’ve ever seen products discounted at have been during Black Friday sales events. However, we consistently notice that Amazon products are priced lower during Prime Day events, so now is a better time to buy Kindles, Fire TVs, Echo devices, etc.

How can you fact-check Prime Day deals?

To find out if a deal is actually legit or worth your money, you can use deal trackers like Keepa and Camel Camel Camel that are easy to use and download. At ZDNET, we use Camel Camel Camel to track a product’s price differences over time and compare the lowest price to the highest price.

How did we choose these October Prime Day deals?

There are still a few weeks until the October Prime Day sale officially kicks off, but I was able to find a handful of great discounts on trusted brands like TCL, LG, and Sony. I made sure to only choose the best discounts on the best models from each brand to help you narrow down your choices for your next home theater upgrade. I also included a few soundbar and projector options for customers looking to make several home theater upgrades at once.

What are the best Prime Day deals?

ZDNET’s experts have been searching through Prime Day and other sales to find the best discounts by category. These are the best deals live now:
