Amazon’s Big Spring Sale is less than a week away, and while you can already find markdowns on a variety of tech, the gaming deals are still few and far between. If you can’t wait for the sale to officially kick off to upgrade your setup, Best Buy is running its Tech Fest sale through Sunday, with huge discounts on new and refurbished consoles, high-end gaming monitors, laptops, and more.

To help you find the best fit for both your budget and your gaming space, I put together a list of the very best deals I could dig up. My favorite is the massive 62% discount on the WD Black SN850P 2TB SSD, bringing the price down to just $400 (and a bit closer to pre-AI-hype costs). While it’s officially licensed for use with the PS5, it can also be used in PCs and desktops. You can keep reading below to find out more about the SN850P as well as the other top Tech Fest deals.

How did we choose these gaming deals?

ZDNET only writes about deals we want to buy — devices and products we desire, need, or would recommend. Our experts looked for deals that were at least 20% off (or are hardly ever on sale), using established price comparison tools and trackers to determine whether the deal is actually on sale and how frequently it drops.

We also looked over customer reviews to find out what matters to real people who already own and use the deals we’re recommending. Our recommendations may also be based on our own testing — in addition to extensive research and comparison shopping. The goal is to deliver the most accurate advice to help you shop smarter.
