The founder and former head of Twitter, Jack Dorsey (Jack Dorsey), announced his final decision to stop taking part in the management of the company. According to Dorsey, in fact, he no longer participates in the management of the company, having transferred all his competencies to Dick Costolo , the current CEO of Twitter. Dorsey said that he would like to concentrate on working on the Square project (payment service).
Jack Dorsey said: “We did not report my decision publicly, since this information is in fact of little concern to social network users.”
Now Dorsey will be more actively involved in the life of the Square project, launched in early 2011. The project has received huge amounts of initial investment and is aimed at developing a service that allows mobile payments through a smartphone. Every day a huge number of transactions amounting to 1 million dollars is carried out with the help of the project.
