Rockstar’s Extended Look landed on Netflix and YouTube, and within hours fans were accusing CyberLeek of lying about how recent the leaked build was. The gap between the two is real. The explanation is more boring than a lie.

The 2022 Rockstar hack has a number attached to it: $5 million. The CyberLeek leaks have a much bigger one: $2.83 billion in market value gone in three days. Only one of those is money the company actually spent.

A clip of someone spelling LEEK on a wall with bullets proved CyberLeek is not recycling stolen footage. They are playing GTA 6. With the game three months out and no disc in the box, the leaker says the leaks stop only when Rockstar apologizes.

Ex-Rockstar animator Mike York says he would not be surprised if GTA 6 slipped another six months, which would land it around May 2027. Preorders are open and the date is still November 19, so how much should anyone read into this?
