PlayStation has been around for 30 years and this fall will mark the fifth anniversary of Sony’s popular PlayStation 5 console. Since then, Sony has released the PS5 Slim and the PS5 Pro as well, aiming to reach a wider audience — the latter of which pushes the console’s graphical fidelity and ray-tracing capabilities to the next level.

Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.

Following the latest Sony State of Play announcements in February, we have a good idea of what to expect for the PlayStation universe in the next year. While we don’t expect any major price drops for the console itself (and deals are hard to come by in general), there are plenty of excellent games on the horizon. Even better, you don’t need to wait for major shopping holidays like Black Friday to buy some of the best PlayStation games and accessories for less. We’ve found discounts on games, controllers, headsets, SSDs and other gaming accessories right now. Note that most deals are short-lived so if you like something, don’t wait too long to grab it.

Whichever PS5 version you choose, you immediately access a vast library of magnificent experiences, with several platform exclusives. Think Astro Bot, Marvel’s Spider-Man, God of War, Ratchet & Clank, The Last of Us, Gran Turismo, Demon’s Souls, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Returnal and Horizon.

So whatever you’re shopping for, be it some new games at reduced rates or some accessories to enhance the PS5, we have all the latest deals in one place right here.

    PlayStation game deals

    Sonic X Shadow Generations: $29

The latest Sonic game is reduced by 42% on Amazon. Sonic X Shadow Generations bundles a remaster of the wonderful Sonic Generations with a new campaign starring Shadow the Hedgehog that results in dozens of fantastic, fast and fluid levels that switch between 2D and 3D.

    PlayStation 5 accessory deals

Seagate FireCuda 530R 2TB SSD with heatsink: $175

This 2TB solid-state storage drive is marked down by $20 at Best Buy. It has everything you’ll need to expand your PS5’s storage, including a built-in heatsink. It’s been slightly cheaper in the past but is still a decent price today.
