Google resumed all reports in the Search Console, except for the link report

Recently, Search Console users noticed that Google resumed normal operation of almost all reports that have not been updated since the beginning of April. Today, the Google Webmasters team reported on Twitter that the only report that still lacks fresh data is the link report. For the full restoration of his work, engineers need some more time.

The issue with missing fresh data in the indexing reports in Search Console has been resolved. The only report that still needs some time to update is the backlinks report. Thanks for your patience!

Recall that Google suspended the update on indexing reports about three weeks ago. The reason for this was a bug that previously led to the loss of pages from the search index. In the main search, the error was corrected on April 11, but later it turned out that it also affected reports in the Search Console.

And last week another bug was discovered , due to which Google could choose the wrong canonical version of the page. This error can also cause problems with indexing.
