Every iPhone 18 Pro color
Apple lists the finishes simply as Silver, Black, Glacier and Burgundy. Some launch coverage used longer names taken from the keynote slides, so you will see Deep Black and Glacier Blue in places. They refer to the same two phones. Here is what each one actually is.

The two tone look is gone
The most visible change this year has nothing to do with which shades Apple picked. On the iPhone 17 Pro, the aluminum unibody and the Ceramic Shield glass section on the back were noticeably different tones, which gave the phone a glazed, patchwork appearance that split opinion hard. On the iPhone 18 Pro, those two surfaces are color matched much more closely. Every one of the four finishes reads as a single continuous color from most angles.

The frame is aluminum, not titanium. Apple moved the Pro line to an aluminum unibody with the iPhone 17 Pro and stayed there. Titanium now belongs to the foldable iPhone Duo.
Burgundy is new to the iPhone, but it was not new to the phone aisle: several Android flagships were already shipping in nearly the same shade on the day Apple announced it, as we noted when the Burgundy comparisons started.
Which iPhone 17 Pro colors were dropped
The iPhone 17 Pro shipped in Cosmic Orange, Deep Blue and Silver. Two of those three are finished. Cosmic Orange, the color that dominated coverage of the 2025 launch and became shorthand for “that orange iPhone”, has no successor in the 18 Pro lineup. Deep Blue is replaced by Glacier, which sits at the opposite end of the blue range: where Deep Blue was dark and heavy, Glacier is pale and cold.
If you specifically wanted orange, the only route now is a case or a refurbished iPhone 17 Pro. Apple has never reintroduced a retired Pro color in the following generation.
Does color affect price or availability?
No, and mostly no. Every color costs the same at every capacity. The iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 for 256GB and the Pro Max at $1,299, both $100 above the equivalent iPhone 17 Pro, and both now run up to a 2TB tier that did not exist before. Color has no bearing on any of it.
Availability is a different matter. Launch color demand is lopsided every year, the loudest new shade and the safest neutral both sell through first, and the two middle options sit in stock. Burgundy is this year’s attention getter and Black is the perennial default, so those are the two most likely to slip on delivery dates. Glacier is usually the easiest to walk in and buy.
Warning
Do not pick a color based on renders. Apple’s product photography is shot under controlled lighting that flatters Glacier and Burgundy in particular, and both look meaningfully different under ordinary household bulbs. If you can, look at the real thing before committing, especially with Glacier, which shifts more than any other finish in the lineup depending on the light.
iPhone Duo colors
Apple’s first foldable, the iPhone Duo, comes in two finishes rather than four: Night Sky, a very dark blue, and Star White. Both are wrapped around a polished titanium frame, which gives the Duo a considerably glossier, more jewelry like look than the matte aluminum of the Pro models. It runs the same A20 Pro chip, opens to a 7.6 inch inner display with a 5.4 inch outer screen, and starts at $2,000, with the top configuration reported at $3,199. It ships later than the Pro models, on a timeline pointing to October.

What about the standard iPhone 18?
There is no standard iPhone 18 yet, so there are no colors for it. Apple split the lineup across two seasons this year: the Pro models and the Duo arrived in September, and the regular iPhone 18, the 18e and a second generation iPhone Air are scheduled for roughly March 2027. Those models will get their own palette, and the standard line has historically used brighter, more saturated shades than the Pro.
